The Second Innings

The second innings has begun,
To bring back the one long faded,
Replenishing memories left a decade behind —
Those precious moments built my foundation,
On which I still continue to function.

Time whispers — revive the old love-lore,
With joy, wonder, separation, and tears once more.
I lived those moments, dissolving fears,
As dreams evolved into reality’s sphere.

Time again invokes that tender fragility,
To reclaim my soul from life’s cruelty.

For only love holds the power to fulfil your wish,
When ego dissolves, the heart will nourish —
In stillness and surrender, Love shall flourish.

Duality of thought and action attuned,
The heart remembers what time had strewn.
The circle completes, the journey resumes —
The past reborn in eternal blooms.
